Assistant Art Director & Set Construction for Shakespeare in Shoreditch Festival. The Festival included ten plays and a festival ‘hub’, housing writer Annie Jenkins’ ambitious attempt to write 1000 plays in 10 days with the help of theatre-goers.

Thematically, Shakespeare in Shoreditch aimed to balance the shabby chic and non-descript Victoriana elements of popular Shoreditch trend along with its more industrial background. OSB, bright colours and horrendously dated fixtures, fittings and props were all clashed to combine a picture of Shoreditch born of its history.
